Hello!  I'm Regina Shaw and I teach 5th Grade ELA, Social Studies & Science.  My husband and I moved back to our hometown of Independence, Virginia during the summer of 2023.  After several years away from the mountains, we are both excited to be back and experience everything that this area has to offer.  During my free time, I like to spend time with family, garden, craft and enjoy the outdoors. This is my 20th year in education and I'm delighted to be a part of the Glade Creek Elementary School community.   I look forward to watching my students grow academically and socially!
