This is my 12th year teaching and I absolutely love teaching 2nd grade at Sparta!!!!  I grew up in the Piney Creek community where my Mom was also a teacher and graduated from Alleghany High School and then Appalachian State University.  My teaching career began in Wilkes County and then finally 4 years ago I got the opportunity to teach in my home county.  I am so excited about this school year!
