Mrs. Erika Testerman

I have been an employee with Alleghany County Schools since 2013. I have previously worked at Sparta School and Alleghany High School as an EC teacher assistant and behavior support. I’m super excited to begin my teaching career here at Piney Creek Elementary School this year. I was inspired to return to college and receive a Master of Arts in Special Education from Western Carolina University. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chris and my son, Derek. I also enjoy playing old-time and bluegrass music and I have taught with the Alleghany JAM program in the past.
