Hello! I am Hope McClure, and I teach 7th and 8th grade ELA, K-2 Science, and 3-5 Technology. In 2008, I moved to Alleghany County with my husband, Sam, and I have been a teacher here at GCS ever since! My two children, Emily and Brice, are students here, and we are so happy to be a part of the Glade Creek Family! I received my BS in Biology from Berea College, and I have a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University. In my 12 years of teaching, I have been able to teach in many different subjects and grades in our school. Being a teacher is not what I do, it's who I am, and the opportunity that I have to be your child's teacher is such a blessing to me.
