This is my 26th year teaching Kindergarten at Glade Creek School. I grew up in Alleghany County and attended Sparta Elementary School and Alleghany High School.  I graduated from Appalachian State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. 

When I am not at school, I am spending time with my husband Faron. We have three grown boys and one grandson.  We enjoy spending time with our family, kayaking, and traveling.
