Alleghany County School's Accountability Department is responsible for all aspects of state testing for the school district that relates to the North Carolina Accountability Model, the North Carolina Accountability Standards, the North Carolina High School Exit Standards and the federal ESSA legislation. These responsibilities include: developing testing calendars, training and monitoring school personnel for test administration, ensuring the quality and integrity of test data and providing critical data to our stakeholders to measure student improvement.
Alleghany County Schools 2017-2018 Test Results
The 2017-18 school year is the fourth year in which public school and charter schools will recieve a letter grade under the General Assembly's A-F School Performance Grades. The grades are based on 80% of the schools percentage of GLP (Grade Level Percentage) and 20% of the schools academic growth.
