Hi! My name is Paxton Wooten, and I am so excited for this adventure as the Pre-K Teacher at Glade Creek School. I am 26 years old, and I grew up here in Alleghany County. After attending UNC Chapel Hill for my B.A. in English, I worked as a pharmacy technician before deciding that I wanted to work with children. I became "Mrs. Paxton" at Blue Ridge Developmental Day and loved being the lead teacher for the 3-5 year old class for the last year and a half. I fell in love with teaching this age group, and I can't wait for this school year. In my free time, you can find me reading, cooking, or spending time with my family.
