Hello and Welcome to AIG!  I am the Academically/Intellectually Gifted Coordinator for Alleghany County.  I have worked in the Alleghany County School system in various roles since 2007.  I have a bachlors degree in Interdisciplanary Studies from Old Dominion University and Master degree in Elementary Education from Winston Salem State and an endorsement in K-12 Gifted Education from the University of Virginia.  I have also achieved my National Board Certification. 

I am excited to be one part of your child's education.  Together Alleghany’s teachers, administrators, and instructional coaches are working hard to provide your child with challenging, engaging, and relevant learning to optimize your child’s growth.
