Our mission:
It is a goal of Alleghany County Schools to provide a system of support services that foster student success and achievement of educational goals. Student services in Alleghany County Schools include a variety of programs and services for students and families.
Student service professionals focus on prevention, intervention, transition, and follow-up services for students and families. Direct services are provided for all children and youth, especially those who encounter barriers to learning. Student support services are a vital part of school and student success.
